The Reality of Health and Weight Loss - I’ve just now started looking into health blogs because I hit my limit and said there was no way I was putting on anymore weight. I’ve been working out in an intense physical conditioning class and also doing Insanity, so I end up getting some really good sessions 6 or 7 days a week. It’s only been 2 and a half weeks, but I’m really ready to see serious results. So my question is, how long should it take for me to notice significant changes in my body?

It’s different for everyone depending on a lot of different factors. Everything happens gradually! Here’s an interesting article I found that might help.

From my own experience, it took me a good three months of running 3-4 times a week and eating right until I began to see results.

Try and pick some different milestones! Like…

  • Record how quickly your heart rate goes back to ‘resting’ during your post-workout cool down. The quicker it does, the more in shape you are!
  • How far you can run
  • How much weight you can lift

Good luck! Stick with it :)
