The Reality of Health and Weight Loss - Whenever I start a workout regime, it’s always interrupted when my period starts. I’m usually very self-disciplined and stay away from the bad foods no matter how tempting, so there’s no problem with that. But my motivation to BE ACTIVE is what’s affected. I have severe mood swings at that time and it destroys my motivation when I would otherwise be ready to go! Any tips to help me break out of that shell?? I only have to lose my last 15 lbs! -.- on a lighter note, very helpful blog! Haha :)

Oh my god, this is me exactly. Mood swings, cramps — they all suck. Perks of being a girl, right?

Anyways, exercise is a known MOOD BOOSTER due to the all powerful endorphins! Literally the best thing ever. So first, know that once you drag yourself to the gym, you will feel better.

Here’s some other motivators:

  • Get the GYM PACT app! You pay if you don’t go to the gym, and you earn cold hard cash and awesome when you do! It holds you accountable!
  • Sign up for a RACE! Like the Zombie Apocalypse or the Color Run. It doesn’t have to be a marathon, 5k’s and 10k’s are great motivators for you to train hard!
  • Find a workout buddy! They will make workouts more fun. Not to mention multitasking — catch up with a friend AND workout!
Good luck!
