"Pursue your goals, but never lose sight of the reality of things." -Amy Suto

There are some blogs out there that use the space between one’s thighs as an indicator as health. There are some blogs who obsess over it, and use this idea of a “thigh gap” as a goal.
First of all, the space between your thighs does not show how far you can run, how strong you are, or even how much weight you’ve lost. Thigh gaps have to do with genetics and bone structure.
Some people who are overweight still have thigh gaps while, conversely, athletes with low body compositions will never be able to get this strangely coveted “thigh gap” because their hips are smaller.
Measure your fitness by the distance you can run, by your body composition, by your ability and metrics that aren’t as arbitrary as a desire for smaller thighs that can’t be achieved in a healthful manner by all body types.
Health first!
What do I eat for breakfast? Organic low-sodium low-sugar oatmeal, a banana, and Greek Yogurt. It definitely helps keep my energy up so I can do the things I love, like ride into the sunset on a llama.

Diets don’t yield the kind of results that healthy living does. Think long-term!
Like the shake weight. Or shape-ups. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is!
Only 8% of people are always successful in achieving their resolutions. 19% achieve their resolutions every other year. 49% have infrequent success. 24% (one in four people) NEVER succeed and have failed on every resolution every year. That means that 3 out of 4 people almost never succeed.
You can be the 25% who succeed. Why? Because you’re my follower. And I kind of bet my brother that you would all reach your goals. I don’t like to lose bets. So… I’m counting on you!
